I am reminded again of my appreciation for Dr. Christopher Rollston, because of whom I first became aware of Dr. Gafney's trenchant voice, when he assigned Daughters of Miriam to us in OT Intro. Thanks to Dr. Rollston for having the good sense to point us toward the theological voices that matter, and thanks to Dr. Gafney for helping us to see the history of biblical interpretation with a clarity we don't always achieve in church history class.
